Dr Siobhan O'Sullivan

Dr Siobhan O'Sullivan

Siobhan is currently training to be a surgeon and working in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in London. Siobhan was diagnosed with Primary Ovarian Insufficiency at the age of 31 which caused her to go through an early menopause. Fertility is regarded as a societal landmark of womanhood and youth. Thus, learning of the diagnosis of ovarian insufficiency can be a very isolating and lonely time. In an attempt to break down some of the stigma and to raise an awareness of the condition Siobhan has recently written a book “My Life on Pause” which details her own journey on her diagnosis and management of POI and menopause as a young women in her 30’s.
