Maryanne is a highly experienced sleep consultant, driven by a deep passion for helping adolescents and adults overcome their sleep challenges. Her journey into sleep consultancy began with her own struggles, having been diagnosed with chronic fatigue as a young adult. Later, the demands of caring for non-sleeping babies and the onset of menopause further disrupted her sleep, sparking her determination to find effective solutions.
She completed her training and certification as a Child Sleep Consultant in 2009, motivated by a strong desire to help others facing similar challenges. In 2010, she founded Child Sleep Works and quickly became one of the few specialists in child sleep issues at the time.
Maryanne continued to expand her knowledge and expertise, completing further training through the International Parenting and Health Institute to become certified as an Adult Sleep Consultant. She also completed CBT for Insomnia (CBTi) training through the NHS, allowing her to offer a more comprehensive approach to sleep issues. She shifted the focus of the business and rebranded as The Sleep Works, specialising in adolescents and adults facing sleep challenges.
She offers a 1:1 Transform Programme, incorporating a number of different approaches, designed to guide and support her clients through a comprehensive and personalised journey toward better sleep and improved well-being. She also shares her expertise through webinars, workshops, and sleep clinics, covering a wide range of sleep related topics.
As a member of the British Sleep Society and the International Association for Sleep Consultants, Maryanne is well-informed of the latest research and developments in the field of sleep health. Her commitment to excellence and compassionate care has earned her a reputation as a trusted expert in the industry.
